that's because speed test hooks u up with a local server... in reality you're surfing from the WORLD WIDE web...

with speed test, at least u know singnet's giving you somewhat what you deserve

well i couldn't agree more on this.
but i think applies only to servers from maybe australia or something.
my friend using Starhub BB got 100 ping on internode servers whereas i got 200 plus.
