can u guys help me to test something...

if possible, could you do a ping and tracert for me in cmd prompt to these 2 locations:
just type...

ping tunnel5.wowtunnels.com
ping us.logon.worldofwarcraft.com

tracert tunnel5.wowtunnels.com
tracert us.logon.worldofwarcraft.com

it'd be especially gd if you could do it from 9pm -3am ...
then kindly paste the results of the tracert in yr reply to me. especially the latency in ms... as well as let me know which part of singapore (just the area you're in when u connected via mobile bb) and which telco company of mobile bb you're a subscriber of.

i think the bandwidth of mobile broadband users is dependent on the voice traffic currently transferring at the local gsm tower also..

ie if the GSM tower has an E1 line as backhaul [ 30 voice lines aka 2.048mbps ], and say 10 lines are taken up, only left 2/3 of the 2mbps bandwidth are available for data usage... FYI, for each GSM radio, voice traffic takes priority over data..
ie if 30 lines are taken up by gsm call, the gsm station will try to pass the data user to another nearby gsm radio...

This is based on my knowledge on gsm.
