Hi,

I just got the Aztech Singnet DSL 1000ER "cheapo" white modem from Singnet for a 3 mbps. Having the usual bridge mode/PPPoE issues with my Linksys WRT54g in setting up home wireless. Tried finding documentation or firmware for this model but no mention on internet when I googled. Any help much appreciated!

Its OK, I got it to work. But still no idea what this modem is. Looks like an Aztech 305; but why is it called a DSL 1000ER?

Well this modem is a modem for replacement of the old speedtouch ST536v6 which has only 1 lan port. so Singtel came out with this modem with 4 ports. Due to . Miotv works on Speedtouch, if the sub has internet and miotv , he either uses one . both cant be used unless the sub willing to use the usb port on the st536v6. tats y this modem has 4 ports . its called 1000 er cause it can run miotv. Miotv needs 8mb to run. Only ADSL2+ modems by Singtel the miotv will work.

You can use 3rd party modem to work mioTV and internet simultaneously.

Oh so no more 2wire routers. Replaced by this 1000ER for mioTV/voice etc?

This modem works for miotv and internet only .. miov still use the 2wire routers. coz this modem dont have the miov slot and it doesnt support. using 3rd party modem for internet is ok. but for miotv singtel server will reject ur stb and ur modem type if u use a third party modem for miotv.

now I heard SNBB recontract, they will gave U a Singnet Aztech DSL 1000ER modem .
I already have a wireless router not frm singnet using old ST536 modem.
If recontract how to hookup the Aztech Dsl 1000ER 4 port modem to my wireless router.
Will there be issue of same as ST536 modem bridging mode tat going on.
Can it able to get a internet connection.
