if someone already posted, do merge.
Qala has always been a third tier "cheap" provider in the eyes of the public, although they did try to enter the wireless@sg domain.
on the other hand, M1 also has a less than perfect record, especially with their mobile broadband saga (modifying html pages before sending etc).

Qala is more focused on corporate broadband segment so that's why you don't see them really advertising for normal consumer.. They are one of the operators for Wireless@SG together with iCell and Singtel.
