Well i got the starhub voip phone and its supposed to work anywhere in the world with internet..
So my cousin has it in india and it refuses to work!
I connected the modem first to the computer and it doesn work, then i connected it directly to the modem and i get the dialtone but when you dial a number it comes engaged no matter wat number it is..

Can anyone help me resolve this?

Bypass the router and firewall device. SIP ports may be blocked.
Failing that I suggest you have your cousin call Starhub. He/she is a subscriber after all, and they are obliged to help.

Do note that it takes 5 days for activation. I got mine Wednesday and it still isn't working yet.
