This is due to high amount of data is being used tgt during peak hours
**7pm to Wee hours**
(And During Public Holiday and Weeked)

It's common

This mean ur area alot ppl using starhub

If u r testing ur speed from speedtest during non-peak hours and such problem still occur, i suggest u talk to the CSO.

0.99mb it's still ok

Do notice your speed is UP TO 12mbps and not 12mbps

TS, suggest that you KPKB to Starhub.
That kind of speed is definitely NOT acceptable for Premium subscriber.

ICE, ppl use their hard earn money to pay for their broadband connection leh. He is definitely not asking for Dua nee nee.
It is worst than my 1 mbps bbom.

utilities.starhub.com

Do some tests there and tell us what you get.

I am moving this to the network forum and leaving a 1 week redirect note here.

To add. Get a spanner and make sure your Starhub coaxial cables are firmly fastened. Before you do so, use contact cleaner if you must if you notice them corroded.

You might want to provide more details like:
  • Are you using a router? If so, have you tried connecting the PC directly to the modem?
  • What modem model are you using?
  • Have you checked your cable access point to ensure that the connectors are not heavily oxidised?
  • Have you tried replacing the cable or removing the splitter if you're using one?
