cos i already have a voice plan with SH and i like want to sign up with singtel for data plan but don't want voice plan WITH a phone.

I signed with M1 mobile broadband during Comex. Get sim card and USB modem. Sim card can be used wherever and surf away. But of course, didnt try sending SMS or making calls. Will confirm kena charged. But I can send free SMSes or free call to those M1 services (*-something-something numbers and 16**, forgot liao).

No need to go down to shop if you just wanna check price. Can just see the plans on their respective websites.

can just check prices at their websites lo. Just take note of the data limit of Singtel plans and their "no price cap" policy...

If you want to sign with singtel, do be careful not to bust the limit.
For 1Mbps plan is limited to 30GB
For 2Mbps plan is limited to 50GB

Some user have paid a heavy price for busting the limit. That's the only con side.

On the pros, Singtel reception is quite good most of the time. I have since terminated my home broadband and just relying on the BBOM is good enough to serve my usage in office and at home.
