some isp questions... elspeth Oct 29th, 09, 10:47 PM #1 (permalink)
is it possible to have 2 singnet connections at home? im alrdy on 10mbps mio on my main line but i'd like a supp or 2nd line and hav a 3/6mbps non mio analog singtel connection on that. and is it possible for singtel to charge the supp line to a diff a/c? together with the 3/6 mbps internet...

and another thing is... is it possible to check for starhub signal on your own without getting starhub techs down?thru the tv or somethin...? if not does any1 knw of any gd 3rd party SH contractors that do cable pts and signal testing?
if my SH cable tv is on another family member's a/c and i'd like to hav maxonline on my a/c is it possible for SH to arrange it that way?

i knw the best person to ask would be to goto SH/singtel directly but i tot i'd get some forumers' views here first...

Definitely possible.
You will need a 2nd tel line though, and you can ask for the 2nd line (with internet) to be billed on a separate account.

Heh both line types are actually digital. Just different technologies. As long as you have two seperate phone lines it should be possible.

As for Starhub line strength testing, you won't be able to do much yourself. Just call 1633 to get a tech down.

They said it wasn't possible, but I've just proved them wrong...
