Hi guys,

Wana seek help with expert whether this is possible. I am currently using Mio service including Mio homeline Voice plan . I am thinking of putting a phone in one room where there is no phone line connectivity but there is wireless internet connection . Is it possible to convert my Mio homeline voice plan to something like a VOIP signal and then use a VOIP phone in that room?

you should be able to use a FXO/gateway depends on your land line connection. but you need to route it to someplace.

What do you want to do exactly? route the phone to a SIP user agent on a phone or notebook? but then you need a SIP registrar configuring. Probably better just paying for a SIP service to register your client than using a FXO/gateway.

he cannot.. cos is wireless connection.. most of the device that can do it are all wired based..he might be better off just getting a cordless phone.

you can buy wireless SIP devices.
