General Rules
These rules apply to the entire Forum.

Members may not post content that:
a) is aimed at inciting violent and/or terrorist acts
b) poses a threat to or adversely affects the national security of Singapore
c) poses a threat to or adversely affects racial harmony in Singapore
d) depicts nudity, pornography or graphic or gratuitous violence
e) violates intellectual property laws
f) insults other forum members
g) contains vulgarities
h) are obscene, vulgar, sexually-oriented, hateful, threatening, or otherwise violative of any laws.

We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to modify or remove any User Content.

Members may not post Contents that is aimed at Advertising and spamming is not allowed. This includes using the forum, email, visitor messages, blog comments, picture comments and private message systems to spam other members.

We do not allow members to post threads or to send private messages or emails to other users that advertise or solicit any products, services, funds or donations. Explicit advertising and solicitating in signatures is also prohibited.

Although the administrators and moderators of VRForums will attempt to keep all objectionable messages off this forum, it is impossible for us to review all messages. All messages express the views of the author, and neither the owners of VRForums nor VR Media will be held responsible for the content of any message.

Singapore Marketplace / Garage Sales
The rules in this section apply only to user content within the “Singapore Marketplace / Garage Sales” section of the Forum.

We allow members (sellers) to post their services and products in the Market Place forums so as to form an engaging interaction with potential buyers. Duplicate threads are not allowed.

Alternatively, you may wish to use the Mass Order subforum, subject to the terms described in the relevant section of these Rules.

In order to gain more exposure, members may concurrently use VRClassifieds or may send an email to cs [at] vrmedia.com.sg to enquire about “Featured Ads”

You may not use the Market Place to sell the following items:
a)Counterfeit or pirated item(s)
b)Item(s) imported into Singapore without the relevant permits and/or licenses as required by the laws of the Republic of Singapore
c)Item(s) which are prohibited or controlled under the laws of the Republic of Singapore.
d)Item(s) which are not owned by you, except where the owner of the item(s) has authorized you to act on his/her behalf in the sale of the item(s) in question.

You may not:
a) Advertise or sell goods or services on behalf of a commercial interest or entity, such as a business

b) You may advertise the re-sale of foreign currency

c) You may not advertise the re-sale of rapidshare, online storage or gaming accounts.

We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to modify or remove any contents in the “Singapore Marketplace / Garage Sales” section of the Forum, with or without prior notice.

User Signature Rules
Information aimed at advertising or promoting a commercial product(s) or service(s) may be placed in the User Signature, on the condition that the price of the product(s) or service(s) is/are not also placed in the signature.

You may place in your signature one hyperlink to a website or webpage outside of the Forum on the condition that the linked site:

a)does not advertise or promote commercial product(s) or service(s).
b)does not contain content that is:
i.contains racism
ii.is aimed at inciting violent and/or terrorist acts
iii.poses a threat to or adversely affects the national security of Singapore
iv.poses a threat to or adversely affects racial harmony in Singapore
v.depicts nudity, pornography or graphic or gratuitous violence
vi.violates intellectual property laws

Your user signature may not contain content that:
a)is aimed at inciting violent and/or terrorist acts
b)poses a threat to or adversely affects the national security of Singapore
c)poses a threat to or adversely affects racial harmony in Singapore
d)depicts nudity, pornography or graphic or gratuitous violence
e)violates intellectual property laws
f) insults other forum members
g) contains vulgarities
h) are obscene, vulgar, sexually-oriented, hateful, threatening, or otherwise violative of any laws.

We encourage all forum users to amend their user signatures to adhere to the new user signature rules by 1st April, 2009.

You may create a user signature subject to the following limitations:
a)For a signature containing graphics only, or a combination of graphics and text, or a combination of text of different sizes:
i.The combined dimensions of all the elements in the signature must not exceed 600x130 pixels (width x height)
ii.The combined file size of all the graphics used in your user signature must not exceed one hundred KiloBytes.

b)For a signature containing text of a single size only:

Size 1 - Eight Lines
Size 2 - Seven Lines
Size 3 - Six Lines
Size 4 - Five Lines
Size 5 - Four Lines
Size 6 - Three Lines
Size 7 - Why will you use size 7?
