    Not exactly alot in terms of performance difference to justify spending 1k on another card, imo...

    crysis is a FPS killing card, i think the physics alone can kill.

    ouch! i know a few people that bought two 8800 GTX's specifically for Crysis. looks like they spent an extra $600 for that last 3 fps

    As far as I know physics and explosions depend heavily on your cpu in crysis, that is why with my quad core my fps is steady, and if you run the cpu benchmark you will notice that the bench is just for physics and explosions, so the physics and explosions are controlled by ur cpu in crysis, that is why they recommend a quad core.

    Try this:

    - Make sure you don't have nhancer or any other profile related utilities installed for Nividia.
    - Uninstall the drivers in Add/Remove Programs
    - Boot into safe-mode, and run Drivercleaner.
    - Boot back into normal Windows and re-install the 169.04 driver.
    - After your computer comes back up from a reboot, enable SLI in the CP.
    - Once SLI is enabled, head to the Nvidia Crysis Profile.
    - Notice the SLI setting is set to "Custom" and not SFR/AFR1/AFR2/Single gpu.
    - Do not change this setting to anything. Just leave it at custom.
    - Now run the Game or the Benchmark and you should notice a big difference.
    - As a reference, you can see the results that I get:

    1920x1200 AA/AF disabled, CP options set to High Quality. Windows XP

    Default In-game All High
