Let's see if I can sum up all the highlights as evidence by the color coded features pic.

True 16+2 phase power - Ok so? How is it better than 8 phase? More stability? I doubt it since you're already filtering the signal to the max. Requirement of Nehalem? Maybe......let's make it a feature then.

LGA 1366 - Wouldn't you want that? What an outstanding innovation. It's not like it has anything to do with the number of socket pins.

OC Palm - Fancy new name for <put your guess here>

CrossFireX - Dugh....lol...."If you can afford 1K on video cards you won't mind paying $300USD+ for this mobo. Afterall, we have the Japanese capacitors these days and they are expensive" lol

Express Gate SSD - Uhhhh ok. I guess you're tired of that 15 year old bios screen and the slow boot up times. Well, there is the solution. Limit the functionality of everything and load your internet right up. The only problem? Restart if you want the full functionality of your typical OS.

100% Japanese Capacitors - MY FAVORITE!! Did you know Japanese capacitors are the best? If so, then I have a bridge in Alaska to sell you. Wake up people. It's all about quality control and the manufacturing process - has nothing to do with the country of origin.

3 Channels of DDR - 3 is better than 2....but wait, isn't that essentially a requirement of Nehalem? Wouldn't dual channel cripple the bandwidth?

    ICHR10 - Yawn....

8 Layer PCB - Don't you know what this does? 8 Layers is better than 2.....lol. The "layers" used in the manufacturing process would have nothing to do with the increased complexity of the traces would it? Hey, since this thing may be a little complicated, let's make it a feature.

SAS onboard - Positive addition but hardly an innovation.

Onboard Switch - This is for all you hardcore overcloers out there! When you got a mobo with the Onboard Switch, you get respek!

Now for the killer - Let's end it with a bang with some acronyms EPU and Turbo V.......say what? lol

Conclusion - Lack of innovation. Out of reach for the typical overcloker. Support for the idea that the more money you have these days the better the "overclocking" force in you...
