Speed translastion :

On the website of the distributor ISA Hardware we can see that :

But is that the real price of the Phenoms ? That is the question !

9700 looks good. USD 288.

Now need to compare it VS the Q6600 and upcoming Q9550

Yeah that pretty impressive, i'll get the Phenom X4 9500 or 9600 and overclock it

I'll sell this E4300 and nf680i, besides the AMD chipsets run much much much cooler and i would expect it to be very cool running.

Good movement from AMD, if they keep good prices, nobody is going to get Core 2 Quads until Intel moves everything below $500.

I hope they dont screw up and they start to think about a kick-ass architecture.

if the performance is just a few percentage behind INTEL definitely will lower the price to compete with price/performance

125watt???

Cooling is a challenge for most HSF out there. Can you imagine how hot can it be when it is heavily overclocked??

Definitely can't be hotter than the Intel quad. If people don't have a problem with intel quad then this shouldn't even be an issue. Its a well known fact that AMD always over-estimate their TDP compared to Intel who always under-rated theirs. Barcelona already show that AMD has a cooler chip than Intel, null said.

Yes AMD rates by max heat, while intel rate on average.
