Well the euro price is normally close to the dollar price(in numbers lol) so 305 euros can be 305$

True next generation card from Nvidia is a new architecture G100 something & it will probably not come until Spring 2008 (at the very earliest) but more likely Summer 2008.

128 Stream Processors on this G92 is the max. (just like 128 on the G80 GTX & Ultras).

I imaging the performance of the G92 8800GTS will be about equal to the current 8800 Ultra, possibly a bit higher. It uses less power, fits much better in standard cases and you can run (2) of them in SLI if you really want.

The 8800GT runs too hot and is a little too loud for me, plus the $350.00 price range is fine for me personally
true. next year will bring x2 cards, which means this card will be the best price/performance card for pherhaps another year until the 9800GTS comes out?

so if $350 £210 ish is your budget for a card i'd get this! if you are spending more wait until jan/feb for the way more expensive, slightly more powerful, terribly hot and power hungry X2 cards - although I think i'd rather sli two of these.
