I think the performance is somewhat too good since it has 32 stream processors less than a 8800GS, tho its mem bandwidth and clockspeed are higher.

Is this true ? I think 96gt has a great performance since it is "only" has 64 sp, I wonder what kind of performance 9800gt is if available......

results are rather interesting... on par with 8800gs and beats it in some cases...

also the pcb is freakin clean... i bet this card might much cheaper then the 8800gt when it comes out..

Few questions which of those drivers were used for GF 9600 GT? And could there be coming some siqnicant performance boost with drivers? Usually that have happened with nvidia cards (like Geforce 8600-series perform somewhat better (compared to GF7 series)now compare to when they were launched)

Yes most probably the drivers arnt stil optimized for this gfx. Have to wait abit first~
