So it's 20-30% faster than 8800 Ultra? Good job from ATi. I hope that this would be some what enough again'st GF 9800 GX2. They say it would be 30-50% faster than ultra

Looks nice.
Except for the results in Crysis and Lost Planet...

Difference in games is like 12,6% and if you calculate games+3dMark performance 14,9%. With 30W bigger powerconsumption than 8800 Ultra.

Expreview's review had this test and rig with HD3870 X2 had 334W powerconsumption and same rig with 8800 Ultra had 303W

Wow not bad from ATI. I must have been living under a rock cause I have no idea what card this is lol. A remake of the 3870? Or the successor? Wonder what the cost will be...

Long story short: Two HD3870 GPUs on one single card solution. Nvidia's answer will be Geforce 9800 GX2 which is most likely 2 down clocked 8800 GTS 512MB's

Wow, very nice performance except for the games that do not support CF well.

Somehow this card does not feel very polished yet. Power consumption and heat seems a bit high.

Then again, all high end cards are monsters when it comes to heat and power.

Question : Does it require a Crossfire capable motherboard to work? I have a A8N-SLI Deluxe and am not planning to change my mobo anytime soon

Looks like AMD ATI is finally back in the lead again. But I guess not for long until Nvidia comes out newer card.

One thing that I notice, most graphics card still doesn't do too well for HD resolution of 1920x1080. Correct me if I am wrong...

Looks like ATI still needs to work on their drivers though. And why didn't ever test Crysis in DX10?!? =.="
