Geforce 9800 GX2 hit 16.1K 3dmark06 at 730MHz newzhunter Mar 3rd, 08, 04:33 PM #1 (permalink)
At 730MHz overclock scores 16100 3Dmark06. Of course you all want to know how it scores and on the high end system powered with 3GHz Quad core and Vista 64 bit we can report some nice numbers. The first test is done on a 600MHz core, 2000MHz memory and 1500MHz Shader clock and at 3Dmark05 default settings we scored 17600. In 3Dmark 06 the card at the same clock scored 14400 and this is the normal default score. If you push the card to 730MHz core and 2080MHz memory and leave the Shaders at 1500MHz you end up with 19400 in 3Dmark05 and about 16100 in 3Dmark 06.

i find it rather disappointing still... only 16.6k after overclocking...

Might be cpu bottlenecking it...
