GT200 mechanical drawings? Niceone May 12th, 08, 01:40 AM #1

How much they tell us about the truth? Dunno, if it's fake it's good quality fake .

It would look a lot like mixture of G80 and G92 card from front:
-External Nvio-chip (G80)
-Large GPU (G80)
-Memory configuration is like in (G92)

There is also 8 mem chips on other side of that card. And, as supposed to, they are configured so that it would indicate 512-bit mem bus (those mem chips on both sides of the card aren't on exactly same position on opposite sides of the card)

Any opinions?

I've seen that on TGdaily, I don't think thats fake.
Seems to be the CAD blueprint of GT200, its quite interesting though.

Judging from 2d version of that picture PCB would be SLIGHTLY smaller than 8800 GTX (no real difference), but GT200 would be slightly larger than G80 and also that supposed Nvio chip would be larger.

There was also some rumour that this "Nvio chip" would be something else. Sure it would sound intresting: This card would have internal hybrid power solution.."secondary GPU".

Well rumoured specs would look like it would be 9800 GX2 on one GPU. GREAT bandwidht limitation would be removed.

Though they are also rumouring 240W TDP for this card which seems too high when you remember that 9800 GX2's TDP value is like 45W smaller than that. Perhaps this card would have higher clock frequencies than 9800 GX2?

I believe that is the 9900GTX because of the amount of mem chips. It has a total of 16 memory chips, 16x64= 1024mb of video memory. So yes, that is teh 9900GTX and not the 9900GTS

9900 GTS will be sporting 14 memory chips (14x64MB=896MB) and will have 448 bit memory interface.

well 990gts if ever came out on the same core probably will if it's single die (as all said it's impossible to pack two dies together, i still wondering why) ..... shouldn't have that weird mem configuration it'll probably more lookalike 8800gts compared to gtx 148SPs-164SPs (196 really craps when dividing it with 4 ) amd 768MB in 384bit configuration

Looks fake. This is SOLIDWORKS and no experienced SOLIDWORKS user would use the screen like that. And where are all the tools for god sake? That is amateur.
