The iClear signal reducer is free with the 4850 and it says it reduced noise by video cards and tv tuner by 10%... Never heard of one of these and not sure if it's worth it or not but I guess you can't complain with free?

in other words, nothing.

Hmm, searching google returns not more than a card capable of reducing the signal interference of a TV tunner, i.e.

Damn! That is the reason I can't have a sharp image quality with my tv tunner, even with a digital satellite cable signal. Above it there is a noisy and old Radeon 9800 PRO.

look at the card:
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16800997026
It's simply a bunch of capacitors that must be plugged to the PCIE power lines (in an 1X slot) in order to trim the voltage drops when the video card gets hungry and suddenly draws a lot of current.
Very nice idea, but definetely not worth 79$ (only a few bucks/cents of components and a deadly simple PCB).

<=> no digital power in this card : only a material patch over the bad habits of our latest video cards

Never
I just tell you that their marketing guys are and try to tell us it's a highly sophisticated/costly thing while it's only a good idea worth 2$ max production costs (bad days).

Besides this I bought a Sapphire 4850 yesterday and I can confirm you that this card is marvelous and performs really about 2X better than my poor old (radiator) 1950XTX (which was also a good card though).

I won't be able to tell you much about many games since I only (rarely) play Armed Assault, but I can tell you that this game is worth any Crysis when it's time to knee down a rig and the 4850 makes it eventually funny to play for me (the rest of the machine is mainly P5KC-a huge error-/E6750/2G DDR2 1066) while the 1950 was a bit short in 1920X1200/medium high settings.

And what about the Half-Life 2 coupon? Is it Hl2: Episode 3, orange box, or what?
