Yeah even in CCC. But perhaps the cores are binned for lower voltage?

Actually its been the case of late. Most of these overclocked cards are simply charging you extra for the meager overclock that you can always DIY yourself. Was expecting like a non reference fan at least.

lol which prehistoric cave did you crawl out of? Since when did ANY gpu manufacturer sell a card with oc that are not "easily attainable"?

Well ok maybe 1 or 2 cards with liquid cooling design, maybe, but it's MSI, with a stock cooler, what'd you expect -.-

lol what a joke.. overclock edition with still the reference design..
780 is wat overdrive can get on every 4870..
any word on new fan fix issue yet?
i think the dual slot is capable just that it's like a vacuum cleaner when it's 100% spinning..

Not very interesting with reference HSF. Just stick a DuOrb onto a 4870, geez

the good news about this is regular 4870 owners can flash to this card's BIOS without any problems. stock cooling means any 4870 can do it. i doubt these are binned chips - they'd probably be clocked higher if they were.

Intel Q9400 @ 3.2 * 2x2 GB G.Skill DDR3 1333 * Gigabyte X48T DQ6 * Radeon 5870
2x500 GB RAID-0 + 2x320 GB RAID-0 * CM Cosmos S *
21,193 3DMark06 (old score)

maybe they just might later in the future with different heatsinks.

I bought a chinese brand of HD 3850 with core clock 750MHz, which is almost up to the 775MHz of the HD 3870
