Holy shit... NVIDIA must be really scared of RV770.

Also, all of NVIDIA's partners must be pissed right about now...

That's better! This is the perfect price point (their still going to loose the $299) but where the prices need to sit.

Well well well!

Isn't this a LOT more reasonable?

NVIDIA must be hurting because GTX260 costs more to make than HD 4870.

The NVIDIA fanboys must be cursing ATI for:
- "Devalued" their card.
- Making their "team" dropped the price.

Oh the drama

For me, not so much of a heart pain coz I already got it at a very low price...plus, I sold my old cards b4 the launch of RV770. Well, at least when it reaches the price tag of the HD4870, more ppl with nvidia boards will benefit

4870x2 will slap into the face of the GTX280 and cause it to tumble more, I think the rest of the cards will not be affected unless ATI plans to drop the pricing of the 4850 and 4870 when 4870X2 is launched.

This price is still not reasonable, Don't buy for another month and prices will drop to $249.99 / $399.99 where they should be GTX 280 will never be worth $500.00 let nVidia know this by refusing to buy it!!!

Good good. Let's hope nVidia also wanna play price war, drop the GTX280 further to $399.

Then the 4870x2 will also be priced low low. Power to the ppl.

Trust, nvidia doesnt hurt, after all years on top its just strange for them to see ati so close, but nvidia still on top,and even 4870x2 doesnt change that, coz nvidia 101% have something in they sleeves.
The ati fanboys must be cursing Nvidia for:
-fastest cards
-developing to fast compared to ati "team"
