Nvidia GT206 is 55nm, Pictures appeared SeniorEditor Oct 13th, 08, 08:26 AM #1

Die size is approximately 484mm2 and %16 lower than GT200 (thanks to new production process). It should be cheaper, faster and more efficient than GT200.

It is unlikely chip off..

It is just like our CPU, there is a indication that the arrow must face each other to fit into the board...

Thats not a defect. Thats the golden triangle. It tells which way to line up the processor in the socket.

Look at the die itself for the defect, not the packaging. It does look like a corner is chipped off.

definitely a chip off. Common when u mount heatsink unevenly...
It happened rampantly during the duron/spitfire era....

yes people OPEN YOUR EYES because that is clearly the ATI logo right in front of you. if the OP would have taken 10 seconds to actually look at the pics then he would have realized how stupid this thread is.

sure it looks like an ATI logo, but your american. you guys always come up with those stupid conspiracy theories. if i look @ the resitors (at least i think they are resistors) on the chip. its not a typical ATI resitor layout in compare with the other chips. these resistors are lined up perfectly around the chip as on the other chip. ATI's resitors are placed diffirent
