Forget about WB on NB, you don't need to overclock anything on that NB since the memory controller has moved to the CPU.

Have you check what fabrication process it is built on then (NF4) and now (X58)?
If AMD's 790FX (65nm fabrication process) and 790GX (55nm) can be cooled properly with small heatsinks, do you think X58 (45nm) will really need a WB to cool properly?
