Shouldn't we see GPUs nowadays getting smaller cuz of higher tech?, so why it looks like that they getting bigger?! By 2020, GPUs' coolers will have fans as big as the one in your home? wtf

It's the NV I/O chip which provides all the display output like DVI, HDMI, etc. It can also be found on the G80 design.

the NV I/O chip. guess they made it so large as with the 8800 (GTS 320mb, GTX, ultra) series that they decided to have a separate chip.
