hm.....it is just a 'down clock' version of 'normal' 9600GT with lesser voltage..

Guess this might be able to achieve with some mod bios on 'normal' 9600GT??

Still good job: Clocks are 8% smaller than on regular 9600GT, but power consumption is 38% smaller. Though mobile version of G92 can pull 9600GT'ish perfomance with 35W TDP

Its interesting that the power draw on the conventional 9600GT is so much higher than the "green edition" 9600GT.

ha, what a crap

now nvdiai can even sell their lower binned waste!
and its another rebrand, every g94 can get that power consumption

= cut-down power supply + new gddr3 memory with lower power consumption + clocked down chip

so all in all you get less for more money

Cherry picked G94-gpu that can can reach that kind of clocks with low voltage...

So you know it's price and you know that every G94 can get that powerconsumption level with that kind of clocks? You have some nice fanboyism going on there

This Green Edition model would make an awesome PhysX card, especially with GTX 295+ Quad-SLI which sucks the living daylight out of the PSU.

I wonder what the idle power consumption will be.

I think it's good for those who wish to run a 24hr rig.
A blade cuts both ways. So why take the risk? Stab instead.
