You sorta know they are in trouble when they put 'Web based gaming' at the value vectors...

Ya, but nvidia want to reduce netbook bty life and also price of netbook ...

If nvidia can bring the netbook bty life longer and price of netbook lower, and also better performance, then that's competition.

It's replacing performance with other essential factors netbook need to have.

Intel will def lose out on its "netbook" chipset biz, so its kicking a fuss outta it. But if they have been proactive in bringing out better graphics for their portable platform, they won't even have to worry bout it. Nvidia is simply capitalizing on Intel's lack of innovation due to lack of competition in this arena. There is no doubt its not a new design, and power consumption is higher, but it will unlock more multimedia function to end users. Thumbs up for Nvidia in this aspect. This should serve as a wake up call for Intel.

The 945GE chipset is also damn old , not to mention it lagged on surfing internet when pairing with ATOM , seriously I can't wait to see ION based netbook in the market , at least can play some games .
