Numbers looks good. But not sure if it will perform in REAL games. All those benchmarkings are not nothing when you get unplayable frame rates in games.

You haven't seen its preview in Guru3d yet, have you?
this VGA is awesome, it outperforms HD4830 and almost catches the performance of HD4850

They've also called it a HD 4750 by lack of information/mistake...

Anyway, the card looks really nice... both ways. Nice slides too.

You know that Guru3D review? That was with a 650MHz sample. These slides show 750MHz. So add 15% to the Guru3D figures...

Good point!

The thing is that Guru3D previewed the 4750! The slides that you mention, have information about the 4770!

IMO 4750 will feature 512 GDDR 3 and will hit the market of 9600GT.4770 will fight against 9800GT and with some decent OC maybe will challenge 9800GTX.

So if the HD4770 has a 99USD MSRP, maybe the HD4750 will hit stores at a 80ish pricepoint. Nice.

Going by the specs, this should perform close to the 9800GTX+ which the HD4850 is competing against.

These cards better have a low idle power conusmption.

They look like 3870 coolers.

It gives us the gigaflops rating, and we know the shader count, from which we can derive the core clock speed from:

960GFLOPS/640 = 1.5GHz (1500MHz)
1500MHz/2 = 750MHz.

If you're wondering where that divide by 2 comes from, it's that the shaders do two FLOP per cycle.

For example, we can work out the 4850's clock speed like so:

1000 GFLOPS/800 = 1.25GHz (1250MHz)
1250MHz/2 = 625MHz, which we know is correct.
