Nothing too surprising, the 480 is on the average slightly faster than the 5870 while chewing up much more power. Without crunching actual numbers, the 480 seems to scale poorer than the 5870/5970.
If this is true it's a sad day for Nvidia , it's not slow but even people who don't care much about power consumtion and temperature can get worried with a card like Fermi , 93 C on load , holly shit is Fermi inneficient or what ? what did they do until now ? race the ferrari's and bang the top skinny models with the money they earned from the aging G80 arhitecture they rebranded over and over the years ?
Well, at least the exterior/stickers seem fresh and neat...
Hm, remind me again, why I'm looking at some images of a CGI of a card's irrelevant exterior, that is yet to exist anywhere near a computer shop's GPU isle?
Can it run Crysis?
Surely it can run Crysis at 60fps+
I LOL'd. That was funny.
I think you'll be sad to find out it's slower than the HD 5870 in Crysis, by all so called "trusty" reviews I've seen so far, no clue about what either cards used for drivers tho.
