SINGAPORE, 18 November 2010 – Pushing the boundaries of productivity and creativity, Brother raises the bar on industry trends and technological advancement with the Entrepreneur Pro PR-1000, the “Perfect 10” embroidery machine for small businesses, embroidery enthusiasts, hobbyists and crafters, and home-based entrepreneurs. Also, to eliminate thread tangling and ensure that designs look crisper, the Easy 10-Thread Eyelet Threading System is yet another breakthrough technology that maintains equal tension on all threads as the needles move from colour to colour.

Bringing simple intelligence to the colour selection and threading of a multi-needle embroidery machine, the new, Brother-exclusive InnovaChrome LED Colour Thread System is also the first of its kind. Underneath each of the thread spools is a full-colour LED light which mimics the colour of the thread that belongs on the spool for each design, eliminating any guesswork as to what colour thread should be used. Doubling as a visual status system coupled with audio cues, the lights will flash if a thread breaks or requires changing, so one can limit supervision required and see the current status of the machine at one glance.

Another first in multi-needle embroidery machines is the award-winning, user-friendly interface adapted and improved from the Quattro 6000D – the built-in InnovEye Technology and Up-Close Viewer, capable of showing a bird’s-eye view of the needle area on the 4.3” x 7.2” LCD screen and viewing designs at up to 200% of their actual size. Now even more accurate than before, estimating stitch placement is no longer a hassle as the InnovEye Technology ensures precise needle placement for the hard-to-see areas.

One of the most impressive features in PE-DESIGN NEXT is its ability to link up to four Entrepreneur Pro PR-1000 machines or upgraded Entrepreneur PR-650 machines to one computer via USB cables, allowing the user to control and manage multiple embroidery projects from one command centre. The software also allows the user to spool up to 100 designs, run the same or different design(s) at varying speeds on all linked machines, and view simple design statuses for each machine right from the PC. Plus, the software can allocate designs between linked machines in order to minimise thread changes.

It is opened Mondays to Fridays, from 9am to 9pm, and on Saturdays, from 9am to 3pm.
