Albeit hesitant while ordering that it would be compatible and not original, the adaptor came to my surprise as original. It has the very distinct Apple style of packaging plus while comparing it to the adaptor that came with my macbook, I can barely tell them apart if not for the pristine condition of the newer one.

Definitely compatible and original! I compared all the writings and spellings on this charger to my original one that came with my mbp. Plus, it was carefully packed when i got it.

It's original. Looking by the colour and the fonts on the charger. The weight is the same as the original.

100% Similar to my previous 2 MagSafe chargers bought from EpiCentre. Original.
