Exact date to be revealed on Wednesday

2 models; 20GB Linux and 12GB XP both same price at ~US$499. Expect prices to be different in each country due to taxes.

Singapore - 23rd Apr

UK - End Apr

Thailand - End Apr

Australia - End Apr or early May

If I were getting it, I would just go for Winxp, and later install linux. That way, I get to choose and decide.

If I get the linux version, you do not have the license for XP later. Of course for the religious linux / OSS user, you should avoid the XP license as it will burn your hand. :p

But in case any of you religious folks get the windows XP version and want someone to suffer through XP, I'm here! hehehe

my opinion is that the larger the capacity the better it would be ...
don't mind about the OS though

I would get the 20gb Linux, then install my licensed XP.

Will then get choice of 2 OS plus 20gb SSD

The 20GB VS 12GB difference in disk space VS os, i suppose because win xp need OS license and linux FOC so, paying for 8GB or paying for windows OS.

Must well buy 20GB Linux and self install windows XP!

xp can use *ahem* mah to test test then install original one after testing.. lol..

if the price is really tat cheap.. good lahz... then when atom comes out,i wonder how much it will be sia...

the current version will be phased out so fast...
