So far I find no difference between the surfing from the usual sites I surf.

Battery life for surfing, I have never surf more that 4 hours. So I cannot comment.

The ASUS 1000H is not built for heavy games usage as the graphics processor is not strong IMO.

I agree.. don't expect to do any heavy graphic processing with eee pc.. it can't even handle high-def videos/movies well. It's a netbook and therefore with processor and graphic that can do just that.. 'internet-ing', and a bit more, ...just not that much more

If you thinking about getting a EeePC or any other netbook so you don't have to lug around a powerful and expensive 3kg mobile broadband-able laptop to nearby McDonald telling your parents you going out for group study but in fact you just want to sneak out to play WoW then you'll be very dissappointed.

Got it Comex on the 1st day at 888, only found one reseller with existing stock. Got a mouse fromm the Reseller and the 8GB Thumb drive from Asus. Upgraded to DDR2 800 myself and remove the Linux OS and put iin Win XP Pro.

Takenote the SSD is PCIe type not SATA SSD, I wonder what is the HDD used in 1000H (2.5" or 1.8", SATA or wat?)

It is running very well and the battery is fantastic. Running for 3 hrs surfing and installing software, and the battery still 53% remaining. As it indicate can run for another 3 hrs, I love this.

I paid $55 bucks for 2Gb RAM ... dunno if it's 667 or 800Mhz.. From what you said, it's safe to assume that it can take in 800Mhz ram?
I bought mine from HarveyN**man (at COMEX)! Sadly, when I went home to check, there was only 0.99Gb installed instead of 2Gb (means I paid $55 for nothing!?!!??) I called up HN Parkway Parade and they told me it will not display 2Gb even though 2Gb is already installed. what a joke man! Now still awaiting for them to return a call - cos I insisted no system will fail to display the right amount of ram unless it's above 3.25Gb.....
