heard the default 4 cell can only last 2h 15-30minutes. The 6 cell can do more like 4h 15-30minutes. This estimate is constant usage and constant saving of power on the move can give more battery life.

The default battery for the 1000H is 6-cells .

Very satisfied with battery life so far. Using it a portable typewriter . Sound is quite nice... users can try the "Where the hell is matt (2008)" video on Youtube. No regrets!

so wanting to get one and still cannot find any in retail stores yet, anyone with confirmation of where (branch or location) i can get a 901 or 1000h black?

this eee pc has really changed the way i compute now. Thinking back of those 11 inch sony vaio laptops with hefty pricetags, this has really saved us all and brought convenience to the masses...
