Sony Singapore unveiled its new VAIO lineup earlier today. There are four models, namely the VAIO X series, VAIO L series, VAIO CW and VAIO NW. First up is the VAIO X series, which is Sony's thinnest and lightest VAIO. It features a really light (from 655g) and thin chassis (at 13.9mm) but is designed in such a way to maximise rigidity as well. With long-lasting battery life, a 11.1-inch LED-backlit screen, and being 3G-capable, it's a laptop that mobile professionals should consider. Next is the VAIO L series, which is a touch-screen All-in-one VAIO PC. It has a large 24-inch screen for easy viewing and not forgetting the multi-touch optical sensor onboard. With Full HD resolution and Blu-ray capabilities, packed in a slim and stylish profile, this would definitely be suited for your living room. Moving back to laptops, we have the VAIO CW series, targeted at users who want a laptop that's able to play some of the latest 3D games. It's equipped with the latest Intel Centrino 2 technology (Intel Core 2 Duo, PM45 Express chipset, WiFi 5100 wireless-N), fast DDR3 memory and a pretty juicy NVIDIA GeForce GT 230M GPU with 512MB video memory. Last but not least, the VAIO NW series completes the new lineup with a feature set aimed at users who want a balanced laptop for day-to-day tasks. Configuration options include Intel's Core 2 Duo processors and an ATI Mobility Radeon HD 4570 GPU.
And yes, all these models will come with Microsoft Windows 7 pre-installed.
