I think so too... If you order from US ... US$499 is only for the price of the laptop...its free shipping WITHIN USA only...

If to ship back to Singapore, you have to pay for shipping from US back to Singapore + GST ....so its not going to be cheap...

u should just wait for windows 7 second batch labtops to come out. and i often see people getting a labtop and subsequently using it as a desktop,so be sure of wat u wan. anyway,it's more ''hua'' to get the whole OS disc rather than having it preinstalled.when u ask them to reformat,they will most likely charge u.for nothing.

forgot to mention for ligh-duty, outdoor use, so celeron may keep battery longer, how true and by how %improvement?

Does pre-installed come with serial key?..for DIY reinstallation...if not, then same as a ahemm install?

MAy I ask anyone with experience on multi-display?

This laptop has 1 x VGA and 1 xHDMI, does this means I can setup to display up to 3 screens, incl laptop's screen simultaneously?..Mac has this detect display thingy, to add monitors, does WINXP or Win7 support this?...or perhaps its graphics utility itself?

I have use for this multi-screen display for retail displays on LCD TVs..running from 1 laptop.
Will this be workable?
