MIDI music not playing properly. Bluhman Oct 25th, 09, 03:38 PM #1 (permalink)
Hi there. I've got a problem where my MIDI music plays all wrong:

Basically, when playing midis, sometimes the volume of certain tracks just suddenly drops to extremely low levels... Nope, I don't know why either. It just does that on random notes in random tracks; sometimes the drum track, other times a bass track... No clue. Only happens on some MIDIS as well, which is odd, and it's not always the crowded ones, either; some very complex midis can play on this computer just fine, but others have the aforementioned problem. Anybody got tips or tricks for this problem?

(I'm using a Realtek HD soundcard, I believe.)

Normal Midi example; should play normally and gracefully for y'all.
What I hear.
