did that long ago during RC... no need to install much drivers as most are provided by win7 itself.

windows 7 is pleasant to use. you should switch. and like del_ctrlnoalt windows 7 now supports more drivers. and IF it doesnt support, just see which one is missing and download from the hp website. it's pretty simple
hope you make the switch. haha vista is ... -.-

if there's no win7 driver look a vista driver should work fine too.

both of u are wrong.. u will need to actually test out the drivers to see if it works.. i have tried the drivers and softwares that came with the notebook(using wista home premium) still some dont work properly. u cant safely assume that all the vista drivers and software will work with win7....

Only need to download Realtek driver & the HP Quick Launch Button driver for the bloody mute light to go red. Rest of it just use the Win 7 Update.

the realtek driver for vista wont work.... so i cant choose the surround effect and all..its now using the deafult win7 drivers.. even the quick launch is not fully functional.. i cant use the orig dvd button to acces quickplay.. finally figured out that i need to copy out the SW directory from the original installation and install quick play which is not available on the website .. crap HP

ya crap HP... lol.. i downloaded the TX2500 ones... ironically they have the TX2500 Win7 drivers and they din even bother to link them to the TX2000. Anyway, you can also download from realtek itself.

anyway, think sg only have 2028au model and the 25xx and tx2.

Is QuickPlay that important? I always use Media Player Classic Homecinema that comes with K-Lite.
