At $1839, anything can look as cool as you like. Weight would be a factor as you'd want to hold the set on your hand, with this being a tablet. 1.6Kg might be light, but it's a tad difficult to hold for a long period. Do you absolutely need 12" screen? If not you can consider Gigabyte m912.

You got the HP TX series for really cheap tablets on the go. Battery life not v. good, heat management not fantastic either. The Tx2 has a multitouch screen and is the cheapest multitouch tablet you can find. Pretty fantastic gaming for tablets as it uses the ATI HD3200 intergrated. Most tablets i see use 4500MHD.

Then you got the Acer tablets. The newer ones i think. Theres a CULV Acer tablet coming out soon. Uses 4500MHD. Should be cheap, with good battery life and should be pretty light too.

Then there's Fujitsu. IMO overpriced, but you pay for brand, and the good build quality. Theres also a few IBM tablets hanging around there.

HP,DELL uses N-Trig. Fujitsu, IBM uses WACOM.
The Acer, and the other netbooks with touchscreen is those kind which cant do pressure sensitivity.
The N-Trig and Wacom can.
