Just finished watching gantz on dvd. Got it pretty cheap. $36. Wow, the 3rd battle was epic! I loved the manga! Even though I'm only at book 5 (which is just before the 3rd battle) cause I'm reading the english translated vers by dark horse. Overall I loved the anime all the way up to the 3rd battle. The last one was pretty crappy and the ending didn't make sense. Can't wait for more issues of the manga.

I love the sense of comradeship they had in the 3rd battle. One of the saddest anime's I've watched in a while. Anyone else into gantz?
And trust me, it has nothing to do with the nudity. Heck I barely even acknowledged its presense, was so drawn in by the whole story.


I started watching black lagoon too. Nothing much to shout about. Remy's real sexy though.

Gonna start on FMA (the lastest vers, never watched it before though) and the rest of the ghost in the shell dvds I've not caught yet.

Thinking of finally buying Record of Lodoss War but aint cheap. I remember almost nothing of it cause I watched it when I was really young.

For gantz, the body is super darn unproportional... the artist have problem with body alignment, his previous works even worse... its like 2 huge lump of meat...

Now Gantz is waiting for phase 3, u wan spoiler? lol... the anime is only like til mid of phase 1 or even say 1/3 or 1/4... phase 2 is rather short... manga hiatus til october or november, 3 months break.

Record of Lodoss War is multi part. the one you watched when young is probably the OVA, there is another TV/OVA sequel, then some additional prequel and sequels movies.
