Hi guys!
Got a QX6700 to test yesterday...
Put it on my AW9D max...
But bios(v1.2) only recognised as 66mhz x 10...
Hmm... bios dun fully support...
So swapped in my P5Bvanilla...
Booted nicely @ 2.66ghz recognising as Core2 Quad...
No time to do any tests...
This chip juz made my gpu feel damn slow in the benchmarks...

Nothing great...
Juz wanna share some cpu results on the quad with u guys..


Cinebench @ 3.8ghz :

Madness...
Finally a chip that juz runs thru the cpu bench with ease..

Feels the same in normal applications thou...
Juz that u can run more intensive ones @ once...
2 x Orthos oso can...
Dun think many will want to get this chip...
If for benchmarks, nothing to say...
But for daily usage... a normal c2d is more than enuff...
U can compare the difference below...
E6600 @ 3.8ghz vs QX6700 @ 3.8ghz using PCmark05...
dun bother with the scores...
look @ some of the individual results...

This is on Wc right ? How are the temps like man ?

And it's nice to get h/w to test, unless you bought this la ..

B4 that was @ 3.6ghz on my RubyOrb...
Not bad...
Its bloody hot...hehehe...
Rated @ 130w TDP...
But managable...
But i wonder r all 4cores running @ that overclocked speed...
hmm.....

Can just open up 4 CpuZ and see every core, test like shamino. hahahaha.

But the scores are all great la, also considering that it's on wc in singapore, it's very nice clocks
