On some prev gen tech... just decided to stick with it for awhile more before pushing to next gen... (prices also way too high atm ^^)





anyway.. just a quick spin with my Q6600 and gtx sli on my evga 680i on vista... need to do some more fine tuning...


Setup: Q6600 G0 @ 3.9ghz, 4x1gb 6400tracers @ 1067 cl5, 2x gtx @ 648/1065/1052...

Cooling:
Cpu - 3x120 + dtek fuzion custom bowed + accelerator nozzle + MCP 655
Gpu - 2x120 black ice stealth + mcp655-b + 2x mcw60


am not sure why, but my sli works fine on vista while there is actually a performance loss in xp... i was expecting the opposite to happen, xp to work fine and vista to cock up... lol

tried updating all the drivers, changing settings ect in xp but to no avail, not sure whats causing the prob... will likely do a clean format and sort out the possible causes one by one... if anyone knows what the problem is, do let me know.. thanks..
