The very cool and mean dual slot cooler on the card. The fan actually spins very slowly and silently when I tested the cards air-cooled. Even in 3D mode. I guess it only spins up when temperature gets hot.

A look at the core. This is an Engineering Sample core, GF-7800-U-A2..... No prizes for guessing what the "U" stands for...

We put these cards under extreme cooling of below -90 degrees celcius with our home-made coolers. These cards were tested on the DFI LAN Party UT NF4 SLI-DR Expert.
During some initial tests, we've hit just 4 points shy of 13,400 with a single card!

The card was running at 810/2000Mhz!

This is how the single 512MB compares with one of my best 256MB card scores:

In SLI configuration, 3D Mark 05 is still very CPU limited in GT1 and GT2. Nevertheless, we've managed to break 18K:

18236 in 3D Mark 05. I haven't fully maximized the system power yet as I'm still tweaking the new board. Cards were also not running at their prime speeds, only 769/1944Mhz. The new cards helped a little in GT2, but GT1 is 100% CPU limited.
Well, that's it for now, more to come soon!
