I have a sanyo denki 3 pin fan, and a VR controller from thermaltake bigwater which work along with the original fan.

anyway to modify the denki fan to utilize the controller? any dai ko got diagram/picture how to modify the wire?

No.
That's not a true fan controller. It's there to directly control the fan such as to modify the duty cycle of the fan itself.
