hey guys, i know very alittle about vmod, only done it with 6800gt with bio vmod. i don't wanna avoid warranty so is it possible for a pencil vmod on this xfx 7900gs, it's based on their new pcb. i can do 670mhz core alone and 1700mhz ram alone. 600/1700 pass 3dmark05 and score 9202. i have a 92mm fan on top stock heat sink. here is pic of card below

The mod will void your warranty, but I've heard about shifty ways of covering it up...

Anyways, please report the codes on these chips, and we'll work out a vmod for you. Also, you will need a multimeter for this mod.

i'm sorry, a friend of mine needed a video card so i let lend him my 7900gs. It seems that the ram can no longer run 1700mhz, it will crupt in game NFS:MW anywhere above 1400mhz. But the core still does fine at 600mhz.

so.. what's new here.

I would love some help with modding this card- I have the exact same one as in the pics and I'm dying to know how far I can push it. If anyone could work out some mods for this I would be very happy!

I have to push up this helpboard up again because I could need some experts for my XFX 7900Gs with an other pcb.

Has anyone any idea? That would be great! I just want to go with the core vmod, because the memory already runs at 850 with some different timings via biosflash.
I tried to voltmod via bios before, but that has no effect.
