you don't do much research, do you? It's voltage modification. Increase voltage of the GPU and mem as unlike mainboards, you can't increase the voltage from the bios....so the only resort is to do voltage mods, either using pencil or VR ( variable resistors/potentiometers). Why mod the card...i guess you know the answer...don't you?

Most likely not since gigabyte always differ from Reference design as they want to feature Solid Capacitors.

Hi guys, i am very upset to make a vmod on my EVGA 8500GT but i have read all the "how to"s and i am not sure that my card's pcb is the same like the others ( like gigabyte's card), please somebody help me..can i use the gigabyte vmod's guide to vmod my card??
