yea i think thermalright did a very good job... someone shud do a weight:temperature chart and show... (lol maybe i'm sua ku and someone has already done that, if so where is it?)

please tell me jmke used multiple mounts- 1 to 2 degC isn't what I consider accurate
still, its alot better than what I used to read on the site

on the subject of weight, I wouldn't consider the hyper48 a 'breakthrough' in that respect. with its height and hence extra turning force, I'd say its stretching the limit of what most would put in a pc

got to agree with krado, I like the new thermalrights and their application of heatpipes, Si97 in particular

yup the stock hyper48 fan is way too weak...

that stock fan still managed to cool just as well as the xp 90 did if u look at the fan comparisons...

actually, the stock Hyper48 fan is no where near weak. it's weak because all of you are using AMD platform, and/or, used the 3pin connector. if you had an intel 4 pin fan connector, and/or connect the 4th wire to a 5V supply, you're fan will spin well at 3000+ rpm, giving you a very powerful 92mm fan.
