Volt Modding Wayway Dec 9th, 05, 12:40 PM #3 (permalink)
Hey Jason Im bout to try to go for WR with a single 6800GS on air too, Without voltmod's so far I get 525/1250 with stock cooling wondering if I should get the artic cooler or the Zalman Fatality. My cpu is on stock cooler but I will be removing the IHS tomm. and adding the XP-90C with Zalman 92mm fan So I should be @ 2800mhz maybe more Just wondering were you get those 10k VR's and 20k Vr's . I need someof those to mod the card thanks. Also I will be going for Sli too later in the month.

3dmark03 right on stock is 13558

thanks

Hey Shamino,

Did your GS volt mod works with AGP models of 6800GS? I have an eVGA 6800GS AGP, Part Number: 256-A8-N387-TX.

It have stock core clock 350 MHz. I have biodmodded to 450 MHz with stock core volt but It's showing some artifacts...can I just rise the core volt under NiBiTor v2.7? Or I need to volt mod with "manually" methods?

Take a look at Xtremesystems, there is a threat with a 6800 mod

I think the layout of the GS is the one of the GT´s, but I am not shure.

I hope this helps!
