Is AMD or Intel based Quad-core chip best for oc-ing? Any recommendations from any bro which successfully OC their rig to full-speed using air-cooled?

premium boards: msi 790fx-gd70, gigabyte 790fxt ud5p
budget board: biostar ta 790gx a3+

chips: unlockable x2 550be or 955be

biostar ta 790gx a3+ & unlockable x2 550be get my vote. it's not worth it to spend too much on premuim amd board as they'll be launchin next gen chipset on q1 next year. chip wise some unlockable x2 550be are doin as gud as 955be, u can save up some $$$ for better ram since price of ram is gettin higher nowadays...
