in an attempt to lower my cpu temperatures i spoiled my CPU, I actually removed the IHS (heatspreader) on the CPU and the core came along with it, to my horror i found out the core was actually soldered to the heatspreader good bye CPU

word of advice don't try to remove the heatspreader on AMD K10s they are soldered, i paid dearly for the terrible experience.

i bought 965, trying to OC atm im on 3.9ghz 1.475v so far stable but it runs hot 58C must be the higher TDP
