Unlock my Athlon II x4 640 L3 cache using Asus M4A785TD-M EVO

it is Week 0937 bought from PCThemes on Sunday (should still have alot of stock and i believe other shop at sls also have)
and more important is pass blend 1 hour (which is enough for me).



bios detect L3 cache and here is the validator:




my only complain is ram only runs at 533Mhz (aka 1066) on pc whatever the setting is.

Update: after update the latest bios, i can set the ram to the setting i need Intel burn test also pass 2 cycle

this is d batch w/ deneb core which have locked l3 cache. gud for those who need l3 cache but d drawback is higher tdp (i supposed) as real propus core should have lower tdp since they don't have any locked l3 cache.

yes, for anything related to unlockin (be it cores or cache), u need special bios catered for unlockin & turn ACC ON.

Just want to share my results with everyone here.
I unlocked my X4 620 L3 cache and primed it for 9hrs+ stable.
Highest temp registered = 48 deg C using Asus Probe II.

My Rig: Batch 0937 CPU + Asus M4A785TD-V EVO + 4GB Team Elite DDR3 1333MHz.

37 not idle lah.
It is the temp after I stopped Prime95 for 10 seconds.
Normal Board Idle = 32 only leh...
Maybe Asus Probe II is wrong ???

Btw, I am using CM V8 cooler.
